Christi J Hokel, MS, BSN, RN
Christi is the co-owner and founder of Signature Healthcare. She has been a registered nurse for 21 years serving the communuty. She is a graduate of Grandview University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She obtained a Master's degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Forensic Medicine. She is passionate about leading her team, creating a strong workplace environment and providing the community with excellent service and care.
John R Paulsen
John is the co-owner and founder of Signature Healthcare. He oversees all accounting, insurances and payroll services for the business. He grew up in a farming family and remains active in the family business. In the spring and fall you'll likely find him out helping his family in the field.
Meet the Team
Jennifer
Jennifer joined the team in 2021 as a Recruiting Specialist, bringing a wealth of experience from her nine years as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Signature. Her dedication to providing quality care has been a hallmark of her career.
Recently, Jennifer transitioned into the role of Admissions Coordinator for the Education Division, where she plays a key role in overseeing student registrations, supporting instructors and students, and ensuring program compliance. Her organizational skills and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable asset to the team.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, cultivating her porch garden, and relaxing with a good book or an engaging podcast.

Deann
Deann is the Director of Client Services and Scheduling, a role in which she combines over 35 years of experience in the healthcare industry with more than a decade of dedicated service at Signature. Her extensive knowledge and hands-on involvement across virtually every aspect of the business have made her an invaluable leader and mentor.
Fondly referred to as "the Master Scheduler," Deann is renowned for her expertise in scheduling. She plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations by matching field employees with facilities to maintain exceptional staffing standards. Her commitment to precision and efficiency helps Signature consistently deliver top-tier care to clients and partners.
Outside the office, Deann channels her passion for adventure and family. She enjoys riding her motorcycle on scenic routes, camping in the great outdoors, and creating lasting memories with her loved ones. Her vibrant personality and dedication inspire both her professional team and those close to her
Bethany, RN - CNA & Phlebotomy Instructor
Bethany brings over 15 years of diverse nursing experience to the team, having worked as a Director of Nursing (DON), a travel Emergency Registered Nurse, and in correctional healthcare. Her extensive background and expertise make her an exceptional educator and mentor in our CNA and Hybrid Phlebotomy courses.
Bethany’s teaching style is highly praised by past students for its clarity, engagement, and warmth. She creates a welcoming environment for learners, ensuring they feel supported while mastering the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the workforce.
Future students can look forward to an enriching learning experience under Bethany’s guidance, gaining the confidence and competence to excel in their healthcare careers.

Amanda is the newest member of the Signature team, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her on board! She brings a wealth of experience in recruiting, scheduling, and employee management, making her an invaluable addition to the organization.
