How Does the Advanced CNA Certification Help Me?

The advanced nurse aide course is an additional 75 hours of training which prepares the student to work in an acute care setting. The course is divided into 3 sections: lecture, lab and clinical. The clinical experience will take place in a metro hospital setting. The course provides the learner with content emphasizing the knowledge, skill set and basic pathophysiology necessary to provide care to patients in the hospital.

Pre- Requisites

*Successful completion of a state approved Nurse Aide Training Course

(must provide documentation of a transcript or a certificate)

*CPR from American Heart Association - BLS

This course is designed for those who want to work in the hospital setting and/or starting nursing school. It's an additional 75-hours of training and prepares the student to perform more advanced skills. Class times are 8a-4:30p. Clinical are 7:30A - 3:30P.

  • March 18 - March 29

150-Hour Evening/Saturday Advanced Class

*75-hour class prerequisite*
*COVID vaccine required*
This course is designed for those who want to work in the hospital setting and/or starting nursing school. It's an additional 75-hours of training and prepares the student to perform more advanced skills. Class times are 5:30P - 9:30P and meets 2-3 nights per week. Clinical days are Saturday 7:30A - 3:30P.
